1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Tool Stack website at toolstack.co.in (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Site. Tool Stack is operated as a free public service. There is no registration process and no subscription agreement. Your continued use of the Site following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Use of Service

Tool Stack provides a collection of free, browser-based utility tools including (but not limited to) calculators, converters, text processors, developer utilities, and date tools. You are permitted to use these tools for any lawful personal, educational, or professional purpose, subject to the restrictions set out below.

Using the tools for personal calculations, conversions, and reference purposes.
Using the tools in a professional or educational context — for example, as part of your work, study, or research.

Sharing Tool Stack with colleagues, students, or anyone who might find it useful.

Prohibited Use

You may not use the Site in any way that:

Violates any applicable law or regulation in your jurisdiction or any other applicable jurisdiction.
Involves automated or programmatic scraping, crawling, or data extraction from the Site at a scale that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
Attempts to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Site for unauthorized commercial redistribution.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tool Stack and all tools, content, and features provided on the Site are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

Accuracy — While we make every effort to ensure our tools produce correct results, we do not warrant that any calculation, conversion, or output provided by the Site is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Results should be verified independently for any important or critical use.
Fitness for purpose — We do not warrant that the tools will meet your specific requirements or that results will be appropriate for your intended use case.
Uninterrupted availability — We do not guarantee that the Site will be available at all times, or that access to the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. The Site may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control.

Tool Stack tools are intended for general reference and informational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional advice. Do not rely solely on the output of any online tool for any decision with significant consequences.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tool Stack, its operators, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site or any tool, output, or content provided on the Site.

5. Intellectual Property

The Tool Stack website, including its design, layout, source code, logo, and written content, is the intellectual property of its operators and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for its intended purpose — using the tools — in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Site's source code for commercial purposes.
Create derivative works based on the Site's design or content without written permission.

The underlying mathematical formulas, conversion factors, and standards used by our tools are generally in the public domain. Our implementation of those formulas in JavaScript — the specific code — remains our intellectual property.

6. Third-Party Services

Tool Stack uses the following third-party services, each of which is subject to its own terms and privacy policies:

Web hosting and CDN infrastructure — The Site is hosted using standard web hosting infrastructure. Our hosting provider may collect server logs as described in our Privacy Policy.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites, and we accept no responsibility or liability for them. Linking to an external site does not constitute our endorsement of that site or its content.

7. Privacy

The key privacy commitment is that data you enter into any Tool Stack tool is never transmitted to any server. All calculations are performed locally in your browser. We do not have access to your tool inputs and cannot see your calculation results.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. If you continue to use the Site after changes are posted, you are agreeing to the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Site.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Tool Stack and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site in violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or any content or data you submit to us.
